HOME SECURITY

 

• Lock your door and windows

• Alarm systems

• Security lights

• Clearly show your house number so that police and emergency personnel can easily locate your home

• Know the Emergency Service Number ( ES #) on the power pole closest to your home

 

NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH

 

• Know your neighbors – know the vehicles they drive

• Keep neighbors phone numbers handy for easy access

• Be observant – keep watch in your neighborhood

• Report any suspicious activities to the police

• Write down and report license numbers and descriptions of suspicious looking persons and vehicles in your neighborhood

• Educate your children on crime prevention and personal safety

• Property Managers – Alert your renters to keep doors/windows/vehicles locked and to be observant and sensible regarding personal and property safety during their visit.
